The Reisterstown Lumber Company is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Reisterstown, MD
Reisterstown Lumber Company, a fourth generation, family owned business, is looking to fill our Accounts Payable Specialist position. The Company, which is approaching its 100 year anniversary, is focused on providing its customers quality building products and first class service, while offering an engaging and supportive culture for employees.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and enter vendor invoices for payment processing.
- Scan vendor invoices and backup documents into document management system.
- Generate weekly check runs.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements.
- Maintain 1099 files.
- Follow up on outstanding items such as purchase orders and missing documentation.
- Backup A/R Specialist in their absence – accept customer payments, provide customers with invoices copies, prepare daily cash deposit.
- Complete other duties as may be requested.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Timely, punctual and dependable.
- Able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word.
Education & Experience
- 5 years related experience.
- Experience working in a small, family-owned business is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
